Vietnam Currency is officially Vietnamese Dong, which you will see after an amount like “Đ”, D” or “VND”. You have coins (not popular anymore) and paper notes for 500 vnd, 1000 vnd, 2000 vnd, 5000 vnd. These ATMs can only be found in big cities where there are many foreigners live and work. They usually offer higher withdrawal limits, fewer withdrawal fees, even no fee (for Citibank or ANZ cards), and other benefits.
