Itinerary

Agreed Time: Our Experienced Drivers & Knowledgeable Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hue city. We start our Hue City Motorbike Tour (Scooter) with a visit to Thanh Toan Covered Bridge. This beautiful bridge was built in 1776 with donation money from a local lady. From here, we will take a walk to explore Thanh Toan Local market.

After that, we drive in beautiful countryside route to the most impressive Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh. This is known as the smalest Tomb of Nguyen’s Emperors, but building is much more elaborately designed compare to other tombs of Nguyen’s Emperors. This was also built with mix architectures of Oriental, Indian and European.

Continues with the visit to former American Base (Vong Canh Hill), where you can enjoy beautiful view of perfume river and learn more about Vietnam War from other view points. Then visit workshop that specializes in making incense sticks and conical Hats, there you will have chance to try making incense sticks for your souvenir.

Hue Motorbike Tour continues with a visit to King Tu Duc Tomb. This is one of the most beautiful and picturesque works of architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. The Tomb is 12 Hectar and took 3 years with 3.000 workers to finish.

• Lunch Break (optional) will be in a local restaurant nearby.

After delicious lunch, we’ll head to Tu Hieu Pagoda. This was house for living of Eunuchs after they retired from their work in the Nguyen Royal Family. This still remain many tombs of the eunuchs after they died.

We then drive to Tiger – Elephant Arena, built in 1830. This was the only Coloseum in Vietnam. And it was a place for fighting between Elephants and Tiger for entertainment of Royal Family and propaganda until 1904.

Continue with 20 minute Dragon Boat on Perfume River back to city center. Where our driver will drive you to visit Imperial City. Area was built from 1804, and was living residence for Emperors and Royal Family until 1945. From there, we will go back to your hotel and finish our fantastic Hue City Motorbike Tour.
