Itinerary

Agreed Time: Our tour guide/driver will pick you up at Hue City Hotel/Train Sation for Hue Dragon Boat Tour. Today we have some options for you to choose.

We start with 25 minutes boat cruise on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu (Pagoda of the Celestial Lady). This is a beautiful Buddhist Pagoda located on a hill overlooking to the Perfume River. And built in 1601 by the first founder of the Nguyen Family in Central Vietnam – Nguyen Hoang. Here you also find an old car and picture of a Monk. Who set himself in fire in 1963 to protest against South Vietnam President for free religion.

After visiting 7 Floor Thien Mu Pagoda. We will take private car to Minh Mang Tomb, the Tomb is famous for beautiful landscape and Oriental Architecture. Minh Mang planned and started tomb by himself. But built and finished by his successor – King Thieu Tri.

Continues our tour by Private Car to the most elaborated Tomb of King Khai Dinh. This is the smallest tomb (48.5X117m) of the Nguyen Emperors. But it took the longest time with a lot of money to build. This is also only 1 tomb built with blended architecture of Oriental & Western Styles.

Our next stop of the tour will be Tu Duc Tomb. The major area of the tomb were built from 1864 to 1867. Along with later temple buildings that used as a royal palace for Tu Duc and his wives when he was still alive. Construction of the tomb needed too much labor and hearvy tax.

After Tu Duc Tomb, our tour guide/driver will drop you back to your hotel or anywhere in Hue City Center. And we will finish our fantastic Hue Pagoda & Royal Tomb with Dragon Boat Cruise.
