Itinerary

08:00 – 08:30: We pick you up from hotel in city center of HCM City and take the morning trip to visit Cu Chi Tunnels System. The trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving with a quick stop at Lacquer workshop.

Upon arrival, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video. This to introduce to you about how local people constructed the tunnels and how they survived in the harsh conditions of the war time.

Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war.

Afterward, you will have chance to try special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war). Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun (optional).

Before city tour in the afternoon, you will be offer one beef/chicken noodle at famous local restaurant. Then we keep going with Ho Chi Minh city tour at noon. Continue with visit amazing and landmark places in biggest city of Viet Nam like Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace. The Independence palace is one of the best landmark of Ho Chi Minh City.

Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times. We will visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by Ben Thanh Market and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. We then drop you off at your hotel. And end of Ho Chi Minh City and Cu Chi Tunnels Tour at around 17:30.

Trip Notes:

• Pick up is included just for the centrally located hotels in District 1, 3, 4 of Ho Chi Minh City
• The Notre Dame Cathedral are still under restoratioin now, so we can just visit from outside.

What to Bring:
